All members of Alaska Medical Group Management Association (AKMGMA) and non-members, including physicians, administrators, business managers, supervisors, and staff members will gain valuable knowledge and insight by attending this conference. Attendance is highly recommended for administrators/managers and physicians' teams. The opportunity to support one another and understand the challenges being faced in today’s economy and areas of healthcare regulation is critical.

The annual meeting of AKMGMA provides an educational opportunity for all attendees. Quality continuing education that supports and enforces the value of the administrator/manager to the group practice is key. It is the goal of AKMGMA to provide speakers of exceptional caliber from both a national level and from the local community. Additionally, you are presented with networking social events and opportunities to meet with prospective vendors and build your professional relationships.  

Mission and Vision of Association  

AKMGMA is a professional organization comprised of group practice administrators and managers, healthcare executives, consultants, and vendors located throughout Alaska. AKMGMA’s mission is to provide educational and networking opportunities to healthcare leadership teams in Alaska. Our vision is to mentor and develop current and future leaders within the Alaska healthcare industry. AKMGMA shares the national MGMA vision of advancing leaders, advancing practices.


Once registration opens, you may register for conference at, www.akmgma.org. All meals and social functions are included with the registration fee. When completing registration, you can pay by credit card or choose to have an invoice sent to you. Guests are encouraged and may attend for an additional fee per guest, per event. Hotel accommodations are not included in the registration fee but are available at a reduced rate.


The Alyeska Resort is our conference hotel. A group room rate will be available. Attendees must identify themselves as being part of the AKMGMA Conference to ensure a reservation on the specified room block. Deposit is fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to 4:00 PM on the scheduled day of arrival. Guests may call Room Reservations to make individual reservations at 907-754-2111 or 800-880-3880. 


Alaska Airlines has provided a 7% discount for attendees traveling to Anchorage to attend the conference. Go to www.alaskaair.com click on "Use discount or companion fare code," enter your origin/destination city and travel dates, enter discount code: ECME658, and click on "Find Flights." All eligible flights will display for you to choose from. 

You may also call the Alaska Airlines Group and Meetings Desk at 1-800-445-4435 and reference the discount code. There is no booking fee when booking on AlaskaAir.com, however, a $15.00 ticketing fee will apply for bookings made by calling into the Group Desk.
